       The weight loss center is operated by a Family Nurse Practitioner who has over 4 years of experience in the weight loss industry. Also the staff is very well educated in the prescription medication, diet, supplements, and exercise.

       Currently the LGWLC is open on Mondays and Thursdays 10 AM to 6PM. There is no appointment necessary because the Nurse Practitioner is always on site.

       We take pride in offering nonjudgmental, friendly, supportive service to Kingsport and surrounding communities. A typical visit to the clinic includes filling out a brief medical history form, being seen by the nurse, and then also the Nurse Practitioner. The nurse will measure your height, blood pressure, pulse, weight, waist measurement, percentage of body fat, and water hydration level. This portion of the visit usually takes about 10 minutes. During this time the nurse will go over food choices, water consumption, and exercise.  The Nurse Practitioner will then listen to  your heart and lung sounds making sure you are healthy enough for the prescription medication. There are very few criteria that would eliminate you from the program. Patients with Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, or Thyroid Problems does not eliminate a person from our program.

      Patients experience excellent weight loss results with the prescription medication, but it’s not all about weight loss. The Center offers many supplements to simply bring back that long lost energy that you have been missing. We have supplements that help with Arthritis pain, Fibromyalgia pain, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and memory loss. You do not have to be seeking weight loss to benefit from our products and services. We also offer B12 injections as well as Lipo-B injections which are extremely popular.
